Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
1. Scope of Services
Continuity Systems provides installation and configuration of local AI infrastructure on client-provided hardware. Services may include local model deployment, memory persistence configuration, system validation, and handover documentation. Unless otherwise specified, services are fixed-scope and delivered as described in the engagement agreement.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate hardware information, maintaining hardware integrity, backing up important data prior to installation, and maintaining their own system security post-handoff. Continuity Systems is not responsible for pre-existing system issues.
3. Payments
All payments are processed via Stripe. For fixed-scope installs, payment is due upfront unless otherwise agreed and work begins after payment confirmation.
Refunds: Due to the technical and custom nature of services, payments are non-refundable once installation work has begun.
4. No Warranty
Services are provided “as is.” While best practices are followed, Continuity Systems does not guarantee continuous uptime, compatibility with all future system updates, or performance levels beyond the tested configuration.
5. Limitation of Liability
Continuity Systems shall not be liable for data loss, hardware failure, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages. Clients assume responsibility for system backups and operational continuity.
6. Intellectual Property
Clients retain full ownership of their data, deployed AI system, and hardware. Continuity Systems retains ownership of proprietary configuration methods and deployment processes.
7. Modifications
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of services constitutes agreement to the current version.
